Semper Solaris is a California-based solar company that conducts two separate scholarship contests every quarter. The first scholarship contest is for college students with prize money of $3000 and $1750 for first and second place, respectively. The second scholarship contest is for high school students, where the prize money is $500 for the top two winners. Semper Solaris has been conducting scholarship contests for over 3 years, with total prize money being over $10,000/year.

Semper Solaris is a market leader in residential solar panel installations in the U.S. Along with residential solar panel installations, Semper Solaris also provides other services like battery storage, heating, roofing, and air conditioning installations. They are a large, veteran-owned organization with its head office in El Cajon and more than 14 branch offices throughout California. Since they run scholarship contests every quarter, students have multiple chances of winning the scholarship. The only condition in which multiple attempts are not allowed is if a student has already been announced a winner earlier. Semper Solaris is also involved in several other good causes, including providing free solar installations to veterans in need.
